  • We are located close to the National Cycle Route 66.beach 2
  • For a taste of the seaside, Bridlington, Scarborough, Whitby, Filey and Bempton Cliffs  are only short car journeys away and offer plenty of attractions and fun.
  • For shopaholics, we are between York and Hull,  both having large shopping outlets, such as the Designer outlet at York and Princess Quay at Hull, as well as the many shops in the city.
  • There are  regular horse racing meets at York and Beverley.
  • For  walkers, We are just half a mile from the Yorkshire Wolds Way.
  • The Yorkshire Moors and dales are only a short distance from us with breathtaking scenery on route and fantastic for a family adventure and picnics.
  • Also close by are the historic smaller towns of Beverley, Malton, Pocklington , Driffield, all with a mixture of shops and attractions.
  • For grand historical homes, why not visit Castle Howard,Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall…just to name a few.
  • Local race courses are Beverley and York. approximately 20 – 30 minutes away from us.
  • For the keen equestrians there is the white rose polo club, Bishop Burton Equine centre, Port Royal Equestrian centre and Burnby Equestrian Centre.
  • Langlands Nurseries for keen gardeners is located just down the road and has a very nice café and lots of shopping, ideal for gifts and food.
  •  If you like bird watching theirs North Cave Wetlands, Blacktoft Sands ,Bempton Cliffs and the various local lakes .
  • To keep the kids entertained why not venture to Burnby Hall Gardens, Dalby Forest, Flamingo Land or the beaches at Bridlinton Hornsea or Scarborough.
  • Local delicious meals from The Bay Horse in Market Weighton.
  • Have a look around the lovely Wedding Venues – Barmby Barns, Bunny Hill.
